I thought I'd test out my iPhone 7 Plus Camera (4k!) and walk around Utsunomiya and show you a bit about where I live. I also talk about why I like living in a smaller city compared to Tokyo.
While Tokyo might be a "Mecca" for many people coming to Japan, it's quite the opposite for me. I really hate everything that Tokyo stands for such as the shallowness and crowds, and not to mention how expensive it is. But for me, having lived in both small towns and big cities, I much prefer Utsunomiya which is a medium sized city. While it can sometimes be boring, there is still a lot to offer for me. I love nature and hiking, so it is ideal for that. But it also is close to Tokyo if I feel the need to visit.
What do you think? Do you prefer a small town, medium city, or large city to live in and why? Let me know!
